DeGroot's Spire Arborvitae are narrow, quick growing shrubs that are widely used for neighbor screening or to create hedges. They also work well in matched pairs for vertical accents. Their dark green color lasts year-round and has a purple hue in the winter, and their foliage is soft to the touch. They thrive in full sun and heat once established. Its natural pyramidal form tolerates shearing, and can be shaped into a narrower column.
