When to Apply

How to Apply
Apply with a broadcast or rotary spreader. Apply 1/2″ of water immediately after application.

Be Aware: Do Not Overseed areas after using Prevent. The pre-emergent herbicide will remain active in the soil 8-10 weeks preventing grass seeds & crabgrass seeds from germinating. Do Not Apply Prevent over areas where grass seed has been dormant seeded and has not germinated.
