The Hicks Yew works very well as a privacy screen, windbreak, or standalone plant. This selection is very winter hardy and is not subjected to many diseases or insect issues. The Hicks Yew has showy red fruit from early to late fall and has foliage more like a petite leaf than a needle. It is an easy evergreen shrub to grow, and slowly reaches 10-12' tall and 3-4' wide.
