The Merlot Redbud features dark purple leaves with early, pink blooms.
Dark purple leaves give this tree great contrast for green leaved shrubs in the landscape. This early bloomer produces lavender/ pink flowers. The Merlot Redbud prefers morning or partial sun. This tree is very drought tolerant once established.
