Mimosa Tree

Mimosa Tree

The Mimosa tree is a fast growing, small to medium sized tree that typically grows in a vase shape, and develops an umbrella-like crown.

Fast growing, vase shaped ornamental with exotic finely cut, fern-like leaves. Fluffy, pink flowers that look like powder puffs, cover the tree for the majority of late summer. The flowers are fragrant and will attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. One of the interesting features of this tree is that its leaves will fold up at night and when it is raining, and opening back up when the sun comes out again.
