The Oakleaf Hydrangea features white cone shaped flowers in Summer, change to pink as they mature. Awesome addition to the shadier part of the yard. Typically, it can grow to around 8? but there are several smaller varieties that stay closer to 3?. Easy to grow, however, not Idiot Proof (for blooms) because if pruning is needed, it is important that it is done in August to prevent removing the following years flower buds.
