There are several cultivars of Spirea that bloom only in the spring. Snowmound, Birchleaf and Bridal Wreath are just a few of the varieties. Usually LOADED with blooms along the entire stem first thing in the spring. Prune as needed after flowering. Flowers are attractive to butterflies and other pollinators. Super hardy shrubs that can grow in a variety of soils and can be quite drought tolerant once established.
